Open-Vaccine: Covid-19 mRNA Vaccine Degradation Prediction
Date: February 2021 – Current
This Project is aimed at developing models and design rules for RNA degradation. A developed model will predict likely degradation rates at each base of an RNA molecule, trained on a subset of an Eterna dataset comprising over 3000 RNA molecules (which span a panoply of sequences and structures) and their degradation rates at each position. The model will further be scored on a second generation of RNA sequences that have just been devised by Eterna players for COVID-19 mRNA vaccines

Prediction of Lung Function Decline Due to COVID-19 Disease
Date: August 2020 - December 2020
The aim of this project was to predict a patient’s severity of decline in lung function based on a CT scan of their lungs. and further assess the impact of economic growth and planning due to lung function decline. Lung function was assessed based on output from a spirometer, which measures the forced vital capacity (FVC), i.e. the volume of air exhaled.

Data Intensive Characterization of HIV/AIDS Testing Strategies and Automated Risk System.

Date: March 2018 - October 2018
This project made use of collected big data, machine learning, and demographic methodologies to develop a predictive model design rules for HIV/AIDS testing strategies. The developed model aimed at predicting the likelihood of clients default rates at each base of the available strategies.
